As hull celebrates its year as European City of Culture, this film gives a poetic voice to the women who live in this city – but who are rarely heard. Blending poetry with beautiful crafted documentary storytelling techniques, we follow the inspiring stories of 5 women at a critical juncture in their lives.

Simon Armitage worked on award winning films Feltham Sings, Songbirds and Drinking for England and following on from the success of Mumbai High, Nainita is writing a bespoke score to accompany the film.
